What is Tallgrass RP

Tallgrass RP is a gritty, dark and high realism role player server built on Rock Star Games title Red Dead Redemption 2 and Citizen FX's mod RedM.

Civilian focused RP
Realistic punishment for criminal activities.
Carefully curated history that gives players strong ties for their character's backgrounds.
Seasonal plot arcs that are bigger than any one person or group and will give all players meaningful chances to be part of the story.
Fair and consistent application of rules and guidelines with no favoritism for streamers, friends or staff.
A fresh start for everyone. Applications will be reviewed based on their merits and not pre-conceived notions or biases.
Any monetization will not give a character or player any gameplay advantages (including queue priority) and will be purely cosmetic.

Soul of the Server

Tallgrass RP will always be a place free from discrimination, hate and fear. Behind every rule and decision is a fundamental belief in inclusion, equality and diversity. The lands of Dorado are not reality, or bound by history and instead imagine a world where everyone is on equal footing and personality and story are the true soul of a character. This does not mean we do not acknowledge the darker parts of history in the world outside of Dorado, but through story and rules will now allow any rp or stories that attempt to introduce these aspects into rp or storytelling.

Notes For This Wiki

Avoid using lore when writing development articles or mentioning development systems in lore. To avoid having to track changes in lore regarding names or places we do not want to use names in the development wiki. Any mentions of the server or world should be simply referred to as 'Server' or 'World'. When reffering to players or users use 'Cast member' unless referring to 'Characters'.
