Jobs
Players will have job points that can be used to buy ranks in different jobs, they may choose to specialize in one or two or spread their points out over many jobs to be a jack of all trades. Some jobs will be locked behind staff approval and or RP requirements before they can be taken.
Job Tiers
Each tier costs and increasing number of points to unlock, but gives more benefits and recipes that can only be obtained through that job tier.
Costs:
- Tier 1 (Apprentice): 1 point
- Tier 2 (Novice): 2 points
- Tier 3 (Journeyman): 4 points
- Tier 4 (Expert): 7 points
Job Points
Players can earn up to 20 job points to spend on jobs, they will start with 10 points and will earn more the longer they play on the server, up to a maximum of 20 points. Points will increase at a rate of 1 point per week. The player must have actively played on the server for more than 6 hours during the week to earn the point.
Gathering
Mining
Specialist in gathering rocks, ores and gems from the earth. Miners can find valuable resources in the ground and
refine them for use in crafting or selling. Each tier increases their mining speed and efficiency when smelting any
metals they find. The top tier allows the miner to make steel using iron and coke.
Logging
Gathers wood and from the forests and can turn it into lumber for use in crafting or selling. Each tier increases
chopping speed and efficiency when turning logs into lumber.
Farming
Specializes in growing crops to be used in cooking or manufacturing. Each tier increases the speed at which they
can gather crops and the amount of crops they can gather.
Foraging
Gathers wild plants, herbs and mushrooms from the forests and fields. Each tier increases the ability to identify
plants and the range at which they are able to find them.
Hunting
Specializes in the tracking and killing of animals for their meat, hides and bones. Each tier increases the amount
of meat and chances for special items that can be obtained from animals when butchering them.
Fishing
Gathers fish from the rivers, lakes and oceans. Each tier increases the chance of landing rare or valuable fish and
the size of the fish that can be caught successfully.
Crafting
Blacksmithing
Crafts metal items such as tools, nails, horseshoes, metal straps and various other items used by other crafts.
Gunsmithing
Creates and modifies firearms, ammunition and gunpowder.
Bladesmithing
Crafts knives, bladed weapons and modifies existing knives.
Carpenter
Crafts furniture, tools, parts, wagons and other items like fences and signs.
Leatherworking
Processes hides into leather and crafts leather items such as bags, belts, bandoleers, holsters, saddles etc.
Tailoring
Weaves cloth and crafts clothing, hats, gloves etc.
Cooking
Prepares food and drink from ingredients gathered by other jobs.
Herbalist
Processes plants into medicines, dyes, and other useful items.
Professions
Law
The law profession can only be taken by players who have been approved by staff. This job provides the player with
special abilities and items that can only be used by lawmen.
Medicine
The medicine profession can be taken by anyone up to tier 2 but beyond that must have approval as the abilities and
items become very advanced and require a lot of RP to use properly, and could easily unbalance the game if not used
properly.
Barbery
Create products such as makeup, perfumes, soaps and other beauty products, as well as provide hair cuts, wigs and
tattoos.
Rancher
Raise animals, herd and breed them. Higher tiers require access to property with special facilities.
Horse Trainer
Train horses for riding, racing and pulling wagons. Higher tiers may be limited by staff approval.
Veterinary
Heal and care for animals, diagnose and treat diseases and injuries. Higher tiers may be limited by staff approval.
Locksmith
Crafts locks, keys and safes, also can pick locks and safes. Higher tiers may be limited by staff approval.
Investigator
Investigate the world, gather evidence and learn secrets. Higher tiers may be limited by staff approval.
Undertaker
Threw mankind from the top of the cage.... I kid. Collects and prepares bodies and provides funeral services. Able
to bring props and setup scenes for RP ceremonies and display the body of dead characters.
Printer
Prints newspapers, posters, flyers and other printed materials. Higher tiers require access to special equipment
and staff approval as they have access to special systems to allow people to upload art and do special layouts that
can be seen in game.
